FLASH 19 is BROKEN in Windows 10

Ever since flash updated itself to v 19 in ALL my windows 10 machines - NOflash video plays on any of them. The Flash browser plugin is constantly crashing in Firefox, and instead of the "reload" image and text - all I get is an empty gray box where the video is suppose to be. I wonder if all those advertisers realize that nobody can see their ads anymore? That nobody from the media (msnbc, cnn, abc, cbs etc) can see their streaming shows anymore. This isn't just me - it is a massive break down. There MUST be a better format for video than flash like Silverlight or perhaps something else?

Jeromie, I don't use Chrome, IE or Edge. A few weeks ago flash began stuttering terribly. The audio would break up, and after much frustration - checking with DPC Latency Checker - turning services off and on to find the problematic processes/services...I had it working properly again. In that case, it was nvidia drivers, and a portion of it's control panel conflicting with some part of flash. Over the last few days flash quit on my windows 10 machines. It co-incidences with the upgrade to Flash 19.xxx from Flash 18.xxx. In both these incidences - the OS and drivers remained the same, and the only changing variable was Flash being updated.

I checked tonight again. Now, after not working at all for days. Flash is stuttering again. I'm not liking this auto update of either win10 or flash. It is creating problems often!

I wasn't suggesting you switch permanently. The Flash Player in Chrome and IE are both very distinct from the Flash Player in Firefox. Understanding whether the problem is specific to one browser or is a more pervasive system-wide problem would be useful in eliminating possible root-causes.
