Flash 64 bit

It has been nearly two years since Adobe has been posting it is working on a 64bit version of Adobe
Flash....

Just how good/bad are their programmers?  Does it really take this long to recompile a 64bit version, doubtful...\

Since it is provided free of charge, one would have to assume there are more pressing needs to develope income generating programs and upgrades rather than provide a 64bit version....probably not coming anytime soon, this is a joke, pure and simple....

Adobe should be embarrassed over the whole situation...

SW Player will run on 64-bit Windows, but 32-bit browsers only (to the best of my knowledge).

bldegle2, you don't seem to have a full understanding of what Adobe is going through.

they have to "compile" a 64bit version not only for Windows, but also for Linux and Mac OS X operating systems, which takes up a lot of time.

but anyways, Adobe has posted Flash Player "Square" preview releases for 64bit Linux/Mac/Windows systems on the Adobe Labs site.  Go get them here:

Remember, these are not the final releases.

    erpguy8c,

forgive me, but Linux and the Mac OS X operating systems represent, what,

maybe 15-20% of all normal users, and I may be a bit liberal on the

percentages.....windows, despite all its shortcomings is used by more people

worldwide than any OS presently used...i do not want to install Linux nor do

i want a MAC....my disappointment comes from Adobe dragging their feet on

Windows...pathetic...i have been using a 64 bit OS since the XP daze, lots

    of frustration came with it...

it is good that all is coming to fruition now. i just happen to have picked

a day to post my frustration when the beta was released, obviously I knew

    nothing of the betas...

    thanks for listening...

    Hi,
after  installing Adobe Flash Player plugin Square for 64 bit, still does not  work such as Internet Explorer 9 Beta is on the site some flash content.
Also I can't load the dll to the system that is shipped with the ActiveX by regsvr32 command. Also adding this dll to Visual Studio is not possible,
Is this version of the ActiveX library ready to  be used by developers to use the API of this library? Is it possible in this version?
