I don't use restricted accounts
I've tried all uninstalled and installed numerous times
Why can't the make good installation scripts ??

I got the same problem some programs are ok but you tube refuses to play, could it be a problem with you tube despite the message that my flash player is not working? Again the dongletree fix did nothing!

    I've found the remedy:

    it's in www.donglefree.com

    & select flash repair.

So it was apparently a rights problem.

I have downloaded 9.0.16, I can't even get it to work period. I show it downloaded and installed. When I go to sites like espn.com it asked me to install flash to view highlights, when it redirects me to the adobe page it says I have 9.0.16 already installed. So I uninstall it and reinstall it and go back to espn.com and it asks me to download flash to view. I get it on many websites for me to install flash even though it shows it installed.

I'm having the same problem! For some unknown reason, the Flash Player works on some content but not on sites like YouTube. I've done all the troubleshooting listed on the Adobe site but I haven't been able to figure anything out! I'm running XP Home SP2, with 3 User Accounts all of which are Computer Admin accounts. Flash works perfectly on one account and is bugged on the other two -- no matter what fixes I try. I think it is about time for Adobe to address this issue. I'm about to write them a nice, old-fashion paper letter by registered mailed and maybe ask why they are so reluctant to fix what's broken!

I have the exact same problem. Flash works fine on whichever account I use to install the player, but not on any others. All accounts are set up as administrator accounts.

    Anyone have ideas?
