Flash Ad in YouTube Causes Problem

I am using Flash 11.7.700.169 on a computer with Windows 8 and Internet Exploer 10.  Within the past 24 hours, I have been hving a problem with a flash ad in YouTube causing YouTube to malfunction.  When the ad opens, the following message appears: "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."  The workaround I've discovered is to disable Flash while YouTube loads and then reactivate it when I want to play a video, but I'm wondering if a better solution is available.  Thanks for any help!

    I'm having the same problem with this Samsung ad on YouTube.  It's causing my ATI Radeon HD6950 drivers to crash once, followed by a dump/BSOD shortly thereafter.  I have the .DMP file available and would be happy to provide it, but it's 3GB in size.  What's the best way to get it to you?

    @Breelzy - Ouch, 3gb hmm..  How much will it compress to?  Can you send it to me (ccampbel@adobe.com) via dropbox?

    @CDS1120 - Are you using a 32 or 64 bit OS?

    Anyone know how long this ad has been distributed?

    Can you also confirm if using the latest AMD 13.4 drivers resolves the problem?

    When I went to youtube yesterday I would get a graphics card error and when I tried a 2nd time it would crash and give me the blue screen. It would happen over and over, error and then crash. I blamed the Samsung ad on youtube. I still blame it. I finally bit the bullet and updated my ATI Radeon HD 5570 drivers with some april 2012 update. I've avoided that update because it would mess with some of my old games which I don't play anymore so whatever. So youtube videos work and no longer error and crash for me but the Samsung ad is still messed up. One time it froze the browser and every other time it's just one big green banner. I'm sure it's suppose to be an annoying ad and not a green square. This happened on windows 7 and IE10. I had no problems with google chrome before and after updating the driver.

    Yep, I had no poblems prior to YouTube putting up the Samsung ad, so I'm assuming that's the issue.  My installation of Chrome doesn't seem to have a problem with it, but the Samsung ad totally wipes out Internet Explorer.

    Interesting, anyone else having problems with this specific ad?  Would either of you be willing to generate a crash dmp file so we could take a look?
