Flash Code Error #1088 after Dec and Jan .NET upgrades from Microsoft all Server OS

Getting Object doesnt support property or method 'select ModifyOption' for this command:

getFlexApp("highlightModifyOptions").selectModifyOptions(index);

All started breaking for IE11 after Dec and Jan .NET updates but Chrome works and so does firefox still after a million approvals 

What is best way to troubleshoot error; and how does one find Adobe Flash support so late in Flash life cycle? Microsoft recommended we get with Adobe for Flash support
