Flash crash on Jolicloud 1.1 OS (Linux 2.6.35.8-1-)

I installed Jolicloud OS on my HP Mini 210 a little while back and lately Flash has been crashing just about every time I'm either using the youtube app or youtube.com or watching any video for that matter not utilizing youtube.

My browser is Chromium 8.0.552.237 (70801) Jolicloud 1.1.

The crash seems to be consistent with trying to play videos embedded in my Google RSS reader then trying to pop-out the video either to youtube or vimeo or whatever website that video originated from.

I had the flash plug-in crash error copied but I forgot to paste it before ctrl+v'ing something else. I will update that when it happens again (which it most definitely will).

Any one else running a similar set up that is experiencing the issue? I posted this also to Jolicloud's support forum but it was mostly deflected to "contact Adobe."

Thanks

as mentioned, I finally received the error again:

"The following plug-in has crashed: /usr/lib/flashplugin-installer/libflashplayer.so"

Hi, you mean there was no solution among all of those links? LOL  You may want to check out the FF forums and the Chrome

    forums.

Which plug-in crashed? FF or Chrome? That is important, if not both of them.

What Anti-Virus do you use? Maybe that has something to do with it?

Something is clearly conflicting. Are the same addons in the FF browser as the Chrome?

Skype, RealPlayer, Quicktime do conflict sometimes.

    Let me know,

Hilariously, the links are helpful and everything was going smoothly until about 5 mins ago.

I'm using Chrome. I have FF downloaded and haven't used it enough to crash it I suppose. I use McAffe but all the Chrome extensions are disabled or uninstalled.

I'm trying some of the links' solutions...I think they'll be helpful. I'll let you know.

Hi, I am not familiar with Linux. All I can do is give you directions as to System Requirements for Flash Player and some info on Linux and Installation Instructions.

    Thanks for the links.

Installing (i'm assuming) isn't an issue since I'm using Chrome and it is automatically within the browser...

System requirements are definitely up to par.

Hilariously, I haven't had the crash error come up since I originally posted (like any good problem), so once that comes up again I'll post it and hopefully narrow down a reason.

    Thanks again

Hi, I know, the phone doesn't work until the repairman gets there, LOL

Crashes (open to definition) sometimes happen from addon conflicts within the browser. Anti-Virus addons or from certain other programs. Skype, RealPlayer are a couple. Just make sure if you use those, you have the latest versions.

    Thanks,
