Hello

FLASH

I have the latest flash player 11.4.402.287 for Firefox however as soon as I try to play media (mostly the bbc website videos) firefox freezes and advises the player has crashed. I have the latest versions of Firefox and Flash. Ive followed the instructions on ;-

http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/flash-113-crashes

and

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-games-video-or.html#main_5__Delete_all_Flash_Player_browsing_data

I also changed settings and increased the available space for the BBC website to 10MB  - (I cant remember the Adobe page that advised to do that).

I also tried reverting to flash 10.3 howver same problem. (Note that when I try to run flash set up from my desktop the icon disappears and nothing  happens. I eventually managed to get flash downloaded directly from an Adobe wesite - sorry cant remember which).

READER

I have Reader 9 installed but when I run setup from my desktop to install version 11 I get the same outcome as flash - nothing happens and the set up icon disappears from my desktop.

I disable firewall when downloading.

Ive a Pentium D 2.66Ghz, 3GB ram and 32 bit OS.

Your help would be graeatly appreciated.

Regards

Kenny Steele

I don't know about the Flash Player crash; hopefully someone of the Adobe staff may be able to help you.

You can download the offline Reader installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
