Flash crashing IE

My Internet Explorer keeps crashing and having to restart. I have Windows Vista of course. I tried updating the flash player, which stopped Vista from diagnosing the problem as the flash player needing to be updated. It will no long find a solution to the problem, but it is happening when I am using sites with Flash players. After a while of running things such as music videos for a while, IE crashes. There is no problem with me on viewing flash videos, I can do that, I am just sick of IE shutting down. What should I do? I am ready to just uninstall it altogether.

I read the other thread on this and I saw all the adobe Rep. responses. Just so they don't try to post any of these bogus problems: My laptop is BRAND NEW, it is all updated. I do not have any screensaver or screentime crap, I do not use screensavers. hmmm, what else, well this laptop is factory set up at the moment, the only things I downloaded were AIM and ITUNES, I do not have any programs conflicting with flash. I will not change my graphics card, the laptop is brand new I spent more than enough on it.

I am sick of IE crashing all the time, the last thread did not find a clear solution and if there was it was unclear, and If I don't find one it's goodbye Adobe

I have exactly the same problem but I run on XP not Vista, so it's not a Vista specific problem. I came on looking for answers but just found a similar query! Let's hope someone out there has the answer.

I hesitated to post this message because I am sick and tired of this Flash crap too.
I was very happy when I saw that a new version of Flash player (plug in) was available (9.0.47.0).
Installed it and have been using it now for about one week.

The good news: no more errors in my log about flash.

The bad news: IE now crashes silently and more often than ever. After a restart it politely asks me if it should restore the previous session. I am not going to give possible hints or details, I have done that so many times the last months that you can fill a book with it.

Is it possible to sue someone? It has cost me (and you) a lot of valuable time and effort.
When we join our forces we should at least make some people very nervous.
