Flash Does Not Install

For quite some time I haven't been able to install flash. The installation gets to 55% each time and fails.

No log files are generated. Nothing shows up in /var/log when install is attempted. Im trying to install the version that was downloaded today.

iMac mid 2011

If noting is being logged to the install.log file the installation is failing prior to the installation part.  The online installer downloads and installs Flash Player silently in the background.  Entries don't get logged to the install.log file until the actual installation starts.  I'd like to review the online installer log files, Adobe_ADM.log and Adobe.GDE.log, to investigate further.  The files are saved at ~/Library/Logs/Adobe_ADMLogs.  Please upload these two files to cloud.acobat.com/send using the instructions at How to share a document and post the link to the uploaded files in your reply.

Hi Maria,

I looked at ~/Library/Logs/Adobe_ADMLogs and no files are there (see screenshot). What next?
