Currently there is at least 5 active projects for transfering Flash to WebASM, and it works !
There is already a few hundred flash games and applications which is working absolutely fine on their new home - WebASM without any change in their code.

Adobe - Shame on You that you are not open source Flash, but leaving it die, and peoples is trying to resurect it from roting corpse !

For completeness, here's the original announcement from 2017, which explains the decision and background.  It links to the statements from all of our browser partners with their own rationales and roadmaps.

    This is a plain absurd.
Adobe just ditched what peoples love in the wind of two companies which wish to dominate the advertisement market by injecting their malicious code inside the HTML fragments trough the JavaScript exposure.
This is an absurd and atrocity at once. I have no words to describe it even.
And NO, there is nothing like "security issues" in the flash player. Not in the sanboxed one for sure. If there was some, they are quite neglectable against the bigest security breach in the human history called JavaScript, and widely adored by the bigest companies just because of this.
Nope. I can not accept this absurd.
Aside of this Adobe should be providing the source code of the community right now. WebASM is ok'ish standard on top of which could be build and entierly comunity supported flash player. And this should be the way to go.
Actually if Adobe actually cared - they should even hire a whole team to make it in a mater of a month or so. Else at least for me this would be a shame as a developer to ditch one of the most adored product without even try to use all possible chanes to preserve just because someone said so.
At it's minor - ditching Flash it's perfectly against the evolution of internet and peoples real requirement, and for sure it's against freedom of speech.

the right solution: Russia and China create their own open source Flash emulator which would be very cool.

Open source don't need Adobe to achieve what it needs to achieve. And it's better like that.

I fully agree that when developers like me pass 20 years to develop Flash apps and games and at the end

The JS/HTML5 so called Flash replacement is even not capable to publish a simple webcam in RTMP to a server I just can

say something very very wrong about their plan and real reality of the so called technical evolution.
