Flash green screen solutions don't work

"right click on video and use the display tab..." no such tab appears

"disable hardware acceleration..." no such access exists via any control panel sub-menu

"go to troubleshoot on device..." troubleshoot does not appear, which supposedly means my driver does not support hardware acceleration

"turn on use software rendering instead of GPU rendering..." done, with no impact

and so on.  It makes no difference what I attempt nothing helps.  And what frustrates me the most is that it is very clear that this is a near universal problem between Adobe and Microsoft yet neither company seems to achknowledge responsibility, nor does either company come out with a real, universal, fix.  Why is this so?
