Flash Installed, but telling me it isn't

Flash is installed on my computer, but for some reason has completely stopped working on all of my internet browsers. I can not operate on my computer at work without flash. Can someone please help me? I have looked up all the directions and forums to figure it out, and nothing seems to be working.
