Flash not working, but only on Firefox

Yesterday afternoon, Flash stopped working on my computer, but only in Firefox. I tried everything, uninstalling and reinstalling flash, uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, resetting Firefox, but nothing works. As per the verification page, I have flash installed, as it shows the following:

but the clouds at the bottom to verify that Flash is working wont load, instead giving my just a blank box. Any webpage that needs flash that I try to load gives the same thing. Any ideas as to what might be causing this and how to fix it? Flash is working on Microsoft Edge right now, but I absolutely hate that browser. Thanks.
