flash not working properly

hi. in safari or firefox, flash isn't displayed correctly, if there is text, it's all stacked in areas, buttons will have no words on them I've reinstalled the flash plugins to no avail, I've ruled out a font related issue, the same happens in the nightly build and in other user accounts. I'm on an intel imac running os 10.4.11. any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.

    I'm having the same issues, which I've had before and had no idea what had fixed it. I've as well uninstalled and reinstalled flash player to no avail. I'm on a Power PC G5 running 10.4.11.
