Hi guys,

My computer automatically downloaded the new 10.0.45.2 version of Adobe Flash Player sometime last night and now I am unable to play videos on the internet for longer than a couple of seconds - (At most about 90 seconds), I've tried removing flash player with the Adobe uninstall flash tool and then reinstalling it from the link provided on the adobe website but this still hasn't helped at all. I've also tried installing earlier versions of the player, but this hasn't worked either!! My Operating system is Windows XP and my preferred Web Browser is Mozilla Firefox. The problem also persists when I use Internet Explorer and I've noticed that if I stream an audio clip from a website, it will cut off after a period of about 60 - 90 seconds.
How can I make this problem stop??

I never figured out what the error was that I was getting, but I did resolve this problem that was caused by the automatic

update.  I went to system restore and restored my computer to the last restore point prior to the automatic update.  Everything

is working now.  I can watch youtube video without any problems.  Even the youtube video that I original tried to

watch when all this happened, that one works now too.

The same thing happened to me today.  Only when I tried to watch a youtube clip it said that my Flash Player was out of date.  So...I clicked the link to

update my player and that started a whole bunch of other problems.

I was instructed to uninstall Flash Player Plugin etc. by using the FlashPlayer uninstaller program.  I did that and then tried to install the player again.  Now I can't because for some reason Internet Explorer keeps closing the tab and won't go back.  I have followed links within the Adobe website to resolve this issue but in addition to ie8 closing tabs, I get this message when I click on any link on the website:

ProductMap_kbSmall.processor.importStylesheet:Could not retreive a valid progID of Class: MSXML2.FreeThreadedDOMDocument.3.0. (original exception: undefined)

Has anybody seen this before?  I'm sure this is why I am unable to install Flash Player now, but I have no idea how to fix it.

    Problem 1: Can't install FlashPlayer

Issue: Internet Explorer 8 keeps closing the tab everytime I click the download button.

Problem 2:  The message in bold above.  What is it?

    Can anybody help me?

    Thanks
