Flash Player 10.1.102.64

When my husband goes to the Flash Player version test page, it says he has FP 10.1.102.64 (on IE8 WinXPsp3)

However, when he goes to Add/Remove or CCleaner, it says he has FP plug in 10.1.53.64.

Is there something wrong here, are wI reading something incorrectly?

What do we do?

He  recently updated FireFox to the newest version and the opening screen said we needed to update to newest Flash Player. he didn't do anything at that time.

    There are two Flash Player installers, one for Internet Explorer (ActiveX), and one for all other browsers (plugin).

    Just download and install Flash Player using Firefox, and you will have the latest player on both systems.
