Flash Player 10 not working in my browser on older Mac

I am having issues with Flash Player 10 on my older mac (G4/PPC/450mhz) running os 10.4.11 with the current Firefox browser. Seems that this was not an issue before various updates became available. What is the correct way to resolve this issue - if any? Seems I have read some threads of users downgrading Flash Player - I don't fully understand if this is an option for my setup and situation or not. And yes, I know I may be trying to beat a dead horse, but it sure would be nice to resolve this issue on my old mac. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

    Hi, Do you know what version of Flash Player you have Installed now? If not, go to this site and let me know if you can see the Flash logo animate and what version of Flash Player is displayed.

    Do you know which version you had that was working? The version previous to the latest (10.1.102.64) was 10.1.85.3.

    My current  flash player is version 10,1,102,64. No, I do not recall my earlier working version - I have only recently tried playing video on this workstation after many system and browser updates.

    More info: My browser is Firefox 3.6.13. My mac is a 450 MHz PowerPC G4 with 1.5 GB Memory running OS 10.4.11. If it matters - my graphics chip is an ATI Rage 128.

    Example of issue: I have worked with the Flash Player Settings when I "control-click" on a YouTube video - and tried both enable and disable hardware acceleration (I see no noticable difference with either) - videos are always choppy like a slide show whereas the sound plays OK. My wireless connection is not the issue - other (new) computers in my environment stream video just fine.

    Should I consider uninstalling Flash Player 10 and downgrading since I am on an older mac? I have read that Flash Player 10 is supposed to work with OS 10.4.11, although this is the last OS upgrade I can install on this particular mac.
