I have tried everything they reccomend to run Flash Player 10.

I have IE 8 and Vista.

Nothing has helped to get Flash Player 10 running under the troubleshooting pages.  Can somebody help?!!??

Why must I go through problems to download Flashplayer whenever there is an update.  Can it be made into a simple update?

    As a notice, once you have gotten Flash Player to operate properly, with the User Account Controls turned off, make sure to turn them back on again.

    It will require a few restarts and all the fun, yeah right, but turning the UAC back on ensures safety of your computer.

    Maybe one day they will make Flah Player update with ease and we will not have to go through all these troubles again.

    One can only hope.

    The User Account Control thing didn't work for me.  But installing with IE in safe mode did.  See April 14 thread.

    I researched and found a solution;

    For Vista Users, you need to;

    Turn off User Account Control within the Control Panel and it will finally work.
