Flash Player 10 will not Install in Internet Explorer 8

Hello,

I have gone through the support area on Adobe.com to try and troubleshoot why Adobe Flash Player 10 will not install. This has also happened on other versions of Flash Player and I have also tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. I have also tried to save the ZIP folders to my desktop and install it that way, but all have failed. Here are screenshots that I have taken, that show that Adobe Flash Player 10 is failing to install for Internet Explorer 8.

Thank you for your help and if all fails here I will contact Microsoft Internet Explorer support.

I installed the SubinACL and then then instructions indicated:

    Download the reset_fp10.zip file.

When I clicked on the Download hyperlink it was like Groundhog day.  Going back to the same screen for SubinACL.  I did this several times with the same results.

    Any help is appreciated?

How were you able to fix your problem??? I have also gone through the troubleshooting with the easy setup of going through the IE tool and changed the required things to "prompt" and what not.  Also downloaded the subinACL and reset_fp10 requirements with the windows registry and it still is not working.  I followed the registry issues off the adobe website down to the T and it still says it fails to registry.  PLEASE HELP A COMPUTER NOVICE

Well that is what I did do was the subinACL. Did you follow each exact step in the subinACL, where you install subinACL and then put the reset_fp10 in the same folder which is C:/Program Files/Windows Resource Kits/Tools. You also have to extract the file from reset_fp10, because I've worked on this problem for quite awhile, but this was the way it was fixed. If you need more help just reply to this message.
