Flash player 11 problems

I was recently prompted to download flash player 11.3.300.257 for a computer using Windows 7 and IE 64-bit.  I never had trouble with videos before the install.  After the install, I couldn't view videos embedded in web pages.  I tried all the fixes on the Adobe troubleshooting page with no success.  When I click on the video (which is typically blank), the audio will play but not the video.  Any ideas?

    I have exaclty the same problem. No flash video with flash player 11 and IE 10, starting to get complaints from clients. Does any one have a resolution for this? Help would be appreciated.

    My experience exactly!  My set-up is identical to yours.

    Unfortunately reading through the forum pages with their proffered solutions

    is unenlightening unless you're prepared to spend many hours twiddling and tweaking

    your PC.  I lost patience seveeral days ago.  Have tried re-installing a previous version,

    but that doesn't work now either.

    I tried to download the old version 10 from the archive page but got a notice that I was using an old version and I was directed to the download site for the new version, which doesn't work.  Good times.
