Just downloaded Flash player 12 and sound is distorted when playing videos through firefox. Help

    Is it distorted at ANY site with video or just one (or a few)?

    Also, are you using Windows or Mac?

    I'm using Windows 8.  I tried everyone from shutting down the computer for an hour to uninstalling and reloading Flash Player.  Nothing worked last night so I gave up.  Tried it again this morning and the sound is working correctly again . . . I guess the computer fairy visited!!!  Thank you for responding to my plea but for now, all is good!

    "Windows Audio Service" not starting is an intermittnet problem with my Win 8 laptop. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who has trouble with it. Usually plugging in a headset and unplugging it will "restart" the service. If not, a reboot does it.
