Flash Player 18.0.0.232 was installed 'successfully'; doesn't show up in my applications

I'm a mac user ( os 10.7.5 )and just downloaded Flash Player 18.0.0.232.   It never has showed up in my Applications after a reportedly successful download.  What to do?

Hi,

Flash Player is a browser plugin,not an application.  On OS X, it shows up in /Library/Internet Plug-ins.
