Flash Player 21 problems with Adobe Flex

We are experiencing problems with version 21. Some components are not behaving as expected. For example in some of the autoComplete components we have, our users have to enter the field twice for the auto-complete functionality to trigger.

This was all working fine in the previous version. However it would be a pain to have to downgrade all of our users manually.

Will there be an update to correct this ?

Thanks,

-Grant.

Adobe dropped support for Flex quite a while ago; however, we do our best to maintain functionality.  Flex is now maintained by the Apache foundation, and current versions of the SDK may yield better results.

That said, we'd be happy to look into the issue, but we really need an actionable bug report.  A reduced testcase with source would be ideal (we might be able to offer a workaround), but a working link and steps to reproduce would at least let us take a look with a C++ debugger.

You can fine a bug here:

    http://bugbase.adobe.com/

If you'll reply to the thread with the bug number, I'll get an email notification and will open the bug directly to the engineering team for investigation.

Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience.  We're constantly making small low-level changes to harden the codebase against malware, and it's not always possible to identify and anticipate side-effects across the entire corpus of existing Flash content.  My guess is that you're running afoul of something we've done to harden the player, which is why a reduced testcase might yield a better answer.
