Flash Player 24 install, msi or exec failure
I am trying to push out the distribution to all my workstations. All running windows 7, most are 64 bit, a few 32. I am using Kaseya to do this, but it is not the problem. I down load the distribution from the website address that Adobe gave me for it when I applied for Dist rights. install_flash_player_24_active_x.msi or exe. and install_flash_player_24_plugin.msi or exe type doesn't matter. I get an install error on everyone.
If I run the exe version i get "the version of this file is not compatinble with the version of windows you're running. Check your computer system information to see whther you need an x86 (32 bit) or x64 (64 bit) version of the porogram. then contact the software publisher. "
If I run the MSI version I get "The installation package could not be opened. contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer package"
The packages down load fine. Kaseya stores them in the folder, and they are there. but they will not run using any form. Run as admin makes no difference. Running using msiexec from command line makes no diff. Switches make do diff. I con goto teh website and do a manul install but that is not ideal. I do not want to have to distribute the entire installer to each machine as bandwidth is a problem for us.
BTW: I have successfully done remote push installs this in the past. Just started being an issue lately.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Woody
