Flash Player 32.0.0.192 Failing to update/uninstall

I get the error below when trying to update/uninstall/ or reinstall flash player NPAPI. I am also trying to use the flash uninstall tool with the same error only for the npapi version of flash. I have tried uninstall via msiexec guid without success.

Windows Installer reconfigured the product. Product Name: Adobe Flash Player 32 NPAPI. Product Version: 32.0.0.192. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Adobe. Reconfiguration success or error status: 1638.

    What OS version is this on?

    Please provide the following files for the same uninstallation attempt

    • FlashInstall log file saved at:
      • 32-bit OS: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\FlashInstall32.log
      • 64-bit OS: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\FlashInstall64.log and C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\FlashInstall32.log
        • Both files are required
      • MSI log file with options verbose & extra debugging enabled (v and x)

    Upload all files to Document Cloud (see How to share a file using Adobe Document Cloud ) or some other file sharing service of your choice that doesn't require account log in to access.
