Flash Player's end-of-life was announced over 3 years ago, giving content developers sufficient time to migrate their content to other technologies.  Some have, some have not.

    Hi @hippymom,

Flash Player was discontinued because the browsers don't want you to use it for security reasons.  Nothing replaces it because nothing important on your computer uses Flash.   In fact most people will never miss it when it's gone.

Hi Nancy, My HP Scanner uses adobe Flash Player and without it, the software will NOT run.  I just uninstalled Flash plaer thinking it doesn't run much on my computer, now my scanner is useless.  Can you give me some suggestions other than throwing out the flatbed scanner please?

    Thanks..Brian Kruschel

Check the HP support site to see if there's updated software available.  If not, you'll need to contact HP support for options.
