Flash Player

Hello..I have a really big problem with flashplayer..I downloaded it( I think I did..) but it's not in the menu but if I search in the lilst of programs to uninstall, the Adobe Flash Player Plugin Icon and Flash Player Active X have an x on them and Flashplayer 9 Active X is normal...what does this mean..did I do something wrong?? I already tried following al the procedures in this forum related to troubleshooting etc...
Hope someone can help me..pleeeease..

    Yes, that is correct. The uninstaller in the Add Remove Programs does have a red x on it.
