Flash player 9,0,47,0 does not play in Firefox 2

Hello,

I installed and uninstalled several times Flash player but it does not play. It works in IE but not in FF. On Adobe website ( http://www.adobe.com/fr/products/flash/about/), I get a message saying: "You have version 9,0,47,0 installed" when I surf with FF! But other Adobe pages say I need to install Flash player...

What should I do? Thank you.

    For instance, when I cannot see the animation here: http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/video_workshop/
    And this page says I must enable Javascript (it is enabled) and have the latest Flash player version installed (I have).
