Flash player and windows 10

I run windows 10 on my laptop. I desperately need flash player. I have checked on the settings and Flash player is enabled. Using a web site which requires Flash player I get directed to Flash help and it tells me Flash Player is embedded in windows 10/edge and that it is not enabled - but it is according to the settings. What do I need to do - please help!!!!!
