Flash Player BUGGGGG!!

I am using the default flash playback player to play the H264 video (HD video) from 256kbps to 800kbps and the playback always stutters and drops frames when viewing in Firefox and IE in flash version 10 in WinXP. This happens when accessing it either in local or from the server.

It is a http streaming. When I do just a straight quicktime embed the playback is nice and smooth, but flash playback is jerky, jumpy. I can't really compromise the resolution, especially when quicktime handles the rendering just fine.

But it plays well on my laptop with Windows Vista. Can some please let me know what could be the issue and to resolve it.

So on Vista (different computer?) it plays well, but not on XP?  It could be a number of things - memory, local storage, background processes.

I would also try to clear browser cache, Flash Player cache, Java cache, etc.

Perhaps try the FP beta 10.1 version?
