Flash player causing display driver/Google Chrome to crash

I have been having an issue for a while when using Google Chrome.  Any time that I have several tabs open with flash videos, or if I have been watching things on youtube for a while, I will get the message that my display driver has stopped working but recovered, and google chrome has crashed.  This is the only situation in which my display driver or chrome ever crashes...it usually happens just as I try to load a new video.  I have updated all of my drivers and my flash player is up to date.  Does anyone know what could be causing this issue to occur, or how to fix it?  It is very annoying to deal with, and happens pretty frequently.  It also happened when I used Firefox, but I only use Chrome nowadays.  I have a pretty good computer and video card so I know it's probably not an issue with me not meeting system requirements.  Thanks for the help!

What is your operating system & version?

What is your display adapter, driver version & date?

to fix this issue you need to do two things.

first off right click on any flash content and make sure that enable hardware acceleration is not ticked.any youtube video is flash content.

then in your google address bar type this in

    chrome://flags/

and make sure the following are disabled

    GPU compositing on all pages

    GPU Accelerated SVG Filters

    and that should work
