Flash Player Distribution Link redirect

Hi,

My distribution link that I had applied for no longer works.  The link redirects me to the site to apply for a distribution link.

This is the second time this has happen to be with my link.  Previously I had applied again in order to receive a new link.

Can I please get a working link and is there anything I can do in the future to avoid this?

I had the exact same problem. I noticed it first occur yesterday. I remember in Dec/2015 Adobe was talking about axing the https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_24_active_x.msi  links but it never happened. All of a sudden the link is gone? Seriously Adobe? I mean, I know a forum is only for problems, but this is absolutely unacceptable!

I'm not sure if your issue is the same as the OP.  The OP private messaged me a distribution page link that is no longer working, not a direct link to a file, so they were not able to access the distribution page at all.  If you have a current distribution license the email you received has the link to the distribution page.  Please go to that page to download the installer files. If you have a current distribution license and can't access the distribution page link in the email, private message me the following:

  • link to the distribution page (not the link to the installer files)
  • the email address you used to apply for the distribution license
  • time-frame when you applied for, and received the, distribution license

If you don't have a current distribution license, please go to Adobe Flash Player Distribution | Adobe  to request a distribution license.

I am a long-time and current distribution license holder.  I cannot access the Flash Player distribution page.  I don't understand the instructions to correct this.

Hi ericavjohnson,

When did you receive the most recent distribution link?  Are you logging in using the same Adobe ID/email that the distribution license is associated with?  Please private message me the link you received that is no longer working.  The send a private message right-click on my User ID link and click the 'Message' button.  Please include a link to this discussion.
