Flash player does not load video in FF only audio

My problem is that many video links I click will open up a space for the video to load, only that there is no video, but only audio.  Such as a video article link in yahoo.com; the new link will open up and have the loading symbol for the video and start playing only audio and no video or video controls,no error, just a blank box with sound.  However if I go to youtube.com and click on a video there it will play just fine.  I have noticed sites with flash ads won't load either.  When trying to click open posted videos at facebook that are from youtube it will not load the video, I have to open a new page and navigate to the video from youtube's homepage.  Very annoying.

I am using firefox 14.0.1, (IE8 is having the same issue), and using flash player 11.4 on windows 7 64-bit.  I've tried flash players: 10.2, 10.3, 11.2, 11.3, and all have the same problem.  I've tried reinstalling FF, setting up new profiles in FF and in windows, turing off windows firewall, disabling all add-ons, but nothing seems to change this problem.  Any ideas will be helpful!

What I would try if I encountered your situation is to check if a newer device driver for the display adapter is available; see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/945765
