Flash player download issue for mac

Hi I'm trying to download flash player on my Mac and I keep getting the message

413 

Header Length too Large

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    Hi,

    this is due to too many *adobe.com cookies in the browser.  Delete these and the file will download.  This is a known issue, however, I do not have an estimate as to when it'll be fixed.

    This issue can arise due to existing cookies in web browser cache. Clearing the browser cache and cookies should resolve the issue:

    1. Quit the current download
    2. Clear the browser cookies and cache. For more information on how to do this, see How to clear browser cache and cookies.
