Flash player download not working

Hi

I've got your email stating:

"Thank you for submitting a request to distribute Adobe® Software. Your request has been approved, and you may now distribute the Adobe® Software listed below, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Adobe Reader and Runtime Software Distribution License Agreement.
Approved Software:

  • Adobe® Flash® Player

...

Adobe® Flash® Player

To download the Flash Player version that you would like to distribute, please visit the following URL:
https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution5.html"

But when I go to the URL it says: "No Adobe Flash Player distribution license found for this user.

Please apply by visiting http://www.adobe.com/products/players/flash-player-distribution.html"

So I appplied a second time (which got no response) and still no access.

Contact Us leads to this forum so how to get this fixed?

Thanks

Rich

Hi bigrich99

Are you logging into the site using the same Adobe ID/email address you used when applying for the distribution license or are you using a different Adobe ID?  If you're not using the same Adobe ID that you used to apply for the license, please log in using that Adobe ID.  If you are using the same Adobe ID and you're still getting the error, private message me the Adobe ID/email address you used to apply for the distribution license and I'll follow-up with the licensing team.  To send a private message, mouse-over my User Name and click the 'Message' button link.  As a reference, please include a link to this discussion topic in your private message.

Thank you.

Hi Maria,  I am having a similar problem.  I work at Bunzl Distribution and applied for the distribution license under my Id. [moderator: deleted personal information in accordance with forums privacy policy] I received the confirmation email and can access the software from my ID.  The problem is I am not the one that will be doing the distribution. From the above email I see that the license is tied to my email address.  Is this new this year?  Is it possible to change the distribution license to another email without reapplying for a new account?

Hi heidib84585032

Unfortunately, at this time there is no way to re-assign the license to a different Adobe ID.  The other person will need to apply for a distribution license to have access the distribution download page using their Adobe ID.

The new system validates the Adobe ID accessing the distribution page has a valid distribution license.  The old system did not validate that the user had a valid distribution license.

Thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly.  When did this change occur?

So it turns out, as Maria pointed out, that you cannot change your email address because the permissions are linked to your email address not your account (somebody assumed you would keep the same email address forever lol)!  If your email address changes you basically need to create a new account with that email address and then re-apply.  To solve this problem I had to change back to my old email address and then it worked fine!  Methinks the system was not very well thought out and could do with some redesign ...
