I have found several articles stating flash player will be end of life at the end of 2020.  What is the specific date for flash player end of life?  Is it 12/31/2020?

This topic appears to be a duplicate of  Flash Player distribution after 2020, as such, I'm locking this topic as duplicate topics create confusion and duplicate work posting the same information to multiple locations.

A note to consider: Flash Player will be blocked in all the major browsers before that date. So the actual Flash EOL will not really matter, arguably. You need to examine each browser's roadmap.

Flash player is currently used in a closed system with no access to the internet.  The browser will not receive the updates that block the use of flash on these systems.

Note that several browsers will disable/block Flash by default within the coming months,  For example:

    • Chrome will do so in Chrome 76 (July release).  See Flash Roadmap - The Chromium Projects for more information.
    • Firefox will remove the 'Always Activate' Flash option in Firefox 69 (September 2019 release) and in early 2020 Flash support will be completely removed from consumer versions of Firefox, but the ESR will continue to support Flash until the end of 2020.  See Plugin Roadmap for Firefox - Plugins | MDN for more information

I don't have similar links for Safari and IE/Edge Flash roadmap, but one can assume it'll be similar.
