I am trying to open a PDF file and get an error message "to view the Flash technology content in this PDF file, please install this version of Flash Player that supports Adobe Reader and Acrobat".  I have uninstalled my Flash player and installed the current version and this error message still comes up.

You probably need to install the one for Internet Explorer.

To do this, launch IE and go here:

Thank you for the reply!  I have uninstalled both Adobe Reader and Flash Player and then install them the way you suggested.  I tried that today and it still is producing the same error message.  Any other thoughts on this issue.  I do work in an office environment and I am the only laptop that is having this issue.  Below is the error message that comes up.  I click on the "Proceed to download page" and then it takes me to the next picture below.  There is nothing on the last picture that will allow me to download anything more to be able to open the original document.

I am able to open other PDF documents.  Just not this one that requires the Flash Technology.  Please let me know if you have any other thoughts.

    Hi Ross,

The links to download Flash Player are on the 'Acrobat Help' page in your screenshot, step 1 in the 'Flash Player installs for end users' section.  According to the tech note you need to install both the ActiveX and Plugin versions (highlighted links in step 1:
