Flash player freezes in Google Chrome

Since a few weeks the player freezes. I tried to reinstall Adobe Flash Player, enable and disable pepper flash in the plugins, check and uncheck hardware acceleration, and also updated my graphics drivers but it still doesn't work. I'm using the last version of Chrome. Can someone help me ?

Chrome has its own Flash Player plugin ("PepperFlash"), which is modified, embedded, and maintained by Google, not Adobe.

Here are some steps that have helped work around this problem for some users.

1. Exit chrome, make sure it is not running

2. using file explorer go to c:\users\<user name>\appdata\local\google\chrome\user data\pepperflash

3. Delete the folders you see there

4. Start chrome again, it should work now.

notes:

<user_name> is your logon name.

You'll need to "Show Hidden Files and Folders" in Tools>Folder Options to access the appdata folder.

I thought it fixed it, but after a lot of tests on several videos I realized it's still the same. It doesn't appear to freeze on all the videos but most of them. It does that on youtube and twitch.tv

Are there any other solutions ?

what video card or graphics card are you using?

is it using the latest drivers?

also what version of Google Chrome are you using?
