Flash player h264 live streaming dropping frames

Hi

For some reason i noticed Flash player h264 live streaming is dropping frames very rigorously when streaming to fms 3.5. There are no frames dropped on client camera end. Dropped frames correspond to  NetStreamInfo. The output is thus very jerky. This happenbs no matter what settings i use (176 x 144 @10fps). CPU usage is well below 50%.

I noticied that if i stream the same to Red5 1.0 i do not get any frames dropped. The output is perfect as expected. Can some one please help out on this.

some please respond to this discussion, i am going to keep on posting till some one replies no matter how long it takes. Its the responsibility of forum moderators and others to help each other out , if i may remind.

Now back to my issue. I have noted that using HD webcam with Flash player 11 - h264 live stream encoding, results in lots of frame drops on server, there are jerks in video and the netstream playback is delayes by a long long time no matter what level i use or what bandwidht i set.

If i use a standard webcam (non HD) its seems to be better and smoother. Some one please acknowledge this discussion.

Please Adobe guys help me out with this issue. I kbow everyone is busy. I too have a contributed a little whenever I could. If this forum ultimately requires me to pay for  help I gladly will

The issue I am facing is regarding flash player 11 h264 encoding. I notice that using setQuality method as zero, I get no frames dropped. However If I set any kind of bandwidth limit I get heavy frame drops. Note that i check both conditions on a 384k connection.

There are no guides and tutorials about this. There is no way to produce a quality broadcast even at a 500k connection. Please help me out. If this forum has.some sort of payment requirements i will happily comply

Also i can confirm that the encoder used in FMLE and flash player 11.1 or above is not the same. The medium quality preset in FMLE uses "

Bandwidth           300kbps

Quality                Dont know

fps                      20

keyframeInterval  5sec

If i use the same settings in flash player 11.1 i get heavy framedrops and bad playback no matter what quality i use. So this confirms that both encoder are not the same as adobe claims.

On the other hand i sure would love to know why setting bandwidth to 0 creates a smooth stream without framedrops. I will request someone from adobe team to answer me here.
