Flash player install issues

HI,

I have suse linux desktop and running Firefox 3.5.2, I was having problems opening Farmville using my browser so I decided to upgrade it. I downloaded the tar file (32-bit) and copied the .so file to the plugins directory but to no avail, Next I tried to upgrade the rpm but no use. What could be the problem here?
