Flash Player install never installs

Hi

I am trying to install Flash Player on Win2000 computer. It gets to the "IMPORTANT MESSAGE you may need to click on the gold bar" screen, but the actual gold bar or instal screen never appears.

Try this

download the FP uninstaller from http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157
close all browser windows and run the uninstaller (to uninstall any earlier FP versions)
download the FP installer for Internet Explorer:
- http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax .exe
for other browsers:
- http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe
close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer(s)

To check the successful installation go to

http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
