Flash Player installation, black screen, Yosemite 10.10

Hi, I wonder if you can help.

I have an iMac running OS X Yosemite v. 10.10 and am having problems installing flash player.

I have tried multiple times.... all I get is a black screen.

I have uninstalled Flash player (and checked to see if it's gone...)

I have ticked the box 'allow apps downloaded from Mac App Store and identified developers...

I have shouted at my mac, torn my hair out and bitten my nails down to the quick... none of these things seem to be working.

Can anybody help a me?

Thanks

Hi,

Do you have other issue with Adobe? My though is that Yosemite doesn't work well with Adobe. I have issue with icon missing instead of black screen. I can solve the issue by uninstalling Adobe.

I had my mac troubleshooted by Apple Genius Bar, they said nothing was wrong.

Could you add a screenshot about your issue?
