Did you rename the installationfile?

Error message from where?

Do be aware that you should NEVER click on an update message that pops up on a web site... SOME of them are false and even though they LOOK like an Adobe message, they lead to a site that installs malware

Getting Flash Player https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer is the ONLY place to go

Also, if you are using Microsoft Edge or Microsoft Internet Explorer YOU may not update Flash Player, since Microsoft has LOCKED both of those browsers and only Microsoft may apply a Flash Player update

Go to Microsoft – Official Home Page to search for all things Microsoft

Hi,

Which OS and browser are you using when you see this error? Please go to Adobe - Flash Player page in the same browser. It will list information about the version installed in your machine and the latest available version. If you are not on the latest version please go to Adobe Flash Player Install for all versions page and download the latest version of Flash Player.

Thanks!
