I can't install Adobe flash either.  Doing all the things right but nothing

OS: Windows Vista

Internet and Firefox, neither makes a different with whether it installs.

However, programs list Adobe Flash but the check at the adobe website tell me that adobe flash has not been installed?

Hi,

I branched your post from the topic you posted to as it sounds like you have Flash Player installed, and the topic you posted to was someone wanting to install Flash Player.

What does "Doing all the things right but nothing" mean?

Have you checked to see if Flash is enabled in Internet Explorer and Firefox?

Have you checked to see if ActiveX Filtering is disabled in Internet Explorer?

Internet Explorer and Firefox use two different Flash Player plugins (IE uses ActiveX Control, Firefox uses NPAPI plugin) do you have both installed?

thank you for getting back to me. I keep trying to install and it appears

to install. I followed the instructions to manage add-ons with IE and

firefox but both reveals the program is not installed. I have tried to

install at least 20 times! Even uninstall the program/application that

shows up from the control panel (Windows Vista) and downloaded again and

again but still videos and conferencing, among other things, don't run. Did

not have this problem with adobe flash until I had to reinstall the OS.

Hi,

What is the exact name of the Adobe Flash Player entry that displays in the Control Panel list of installed programs (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features)?  Please post a screenshot (see How to post a screenshot in the forum) of the entry, showing the full name and version installed.

Thank you.
