Real Networks could be making World's best media player right now and it is 90% open source except codecs.

They are still blamed for being spyware thanks to stuff they bundled in year 2000-2002 period.

Some people never learn including Yahoo and Adobe.

Not sure what the big deal is, if you don't want the yahoo toolbar (and who does), then just download the MSI for flash player 9.

    > Not sure what the big deal is

The big deal is that it comes by default, and many people treat Flash as a trusted component and simply follow the defaults. Foolish I know, but that's how people are. More to the point, it is cheap and irresponsible of Adobe to take advantage in this way.

Same applies to other similar bundles, eg. Java Runtime with Google toolbar.

It is only installed if you leave the checkbox set to install it .. In other
words its all your fault if you installed it but did not want it because you
just blindly installed without actually reading what it was you were doing.
You have complete control over whether or not the yahoo bar is installed. .
you just chose not to use that control .. so don't blame Adobe/Macromedia.

Regarding the uninstall, Yahoo is known for being tricky to get rid of once
installed. You would have to ask Yahoo how to uninstall it. or try
searching on Google (say) for other who have had the problem same problem
and see how they resolved it. You've not actually said what happens when
you DO try to uninstall it - just "NOT WORK" does not give us any indication
of what is going on. Also the cookies may not be malware or related
    directly to the toolbar.
