Question

Flash player is crashing on every browser. How do I fix this?!?!

I have Windows 10 as of this past August and I have updated flash player to the latest version, v19. A little more than a week ago I started having problems with flash player and I was getting an error saying "Shockwave Flashplayer is either busy or nonresponsive..." I tried uninstalling and reinstalling a bunch of times, tried different versions and configurations like putting npapi on chrome while disabling ppapi, and even had my computer checked for viruses, malware, spyware, etc. I got the error message to go away and I've had limited success being able to play videos and use other flash required websites, such as pandora radio, and that lasted 36 hours at most and less time than that other times. Now npapi has disappeared from my chrome plugins page and when I try using ppapi, the "flash player has stopped working" message comes up and there is nothing else I can think of to get it working. So I am left still unable to play videos on any website and I can't listen to music on pandora.

If there is going to be a new patch or if there are new settings that have to be implemented, please let me know where I can go or what I can do.

Thank you

I've not used Flash Player with Window 10, but have used it with Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8 resulting in the same issue you mentioned here.  After checking settings, troubleshooting suggestions and reinstalling this program including reinstalling Windows itself, and getting this error no matter how often I reinstalled or upgraded this Flash Player, my working solution has been to use VLC media viewer and today I've removed Flash Player from my Windows computers permanently.

I actually think I may have figured it out, though I'm not 100% sure. It's

only happened to me for Windows 10 and a friend told me that he had the

same problem until he booted up holding the F1 button and then he did a

soft reinstall of Windows 10. So far it's working for me too, but it's only

been a couple of days. Does VLC media viewer really work for all websites?

I was on pandora.com and it refused to work with anything other than flash

    player.

This is not a win 10 issue. This is an issue with latest Flash ver 19 crashing in all browsers across a multitude of systems.

Win 7pro, win 8.1 home, win 8.1 pro, win 10 home, win 10 pro and win 10 evaluation (beta). All in use via 2 pc's and laptop.

Browsers affected:- Firefox, Chrome, IE11, Edge, Safari, Opera, Maxthon.

If you have multiple tabs/windows open requiring use of flash player ver 19 it will either, hang, become unresponsive or just crash.

Ver 19 is unstable and can't cope with multiple use at same time.
