Flash Player is Downloaded... But Not Applicable. Help!

Greetings! I need some help with Flash Player.

I have a Windows Surface RT 8.1, 32 bit.

I have checked to make sure my browser, internet explorer, has Flash Player. Yes, it does. The Shockwave Flash Object option is Enabled.

I am not being asked to close any browsers, I disabled the Active X in the safety tab and I am not receiving any permission issues.

I went to launch Adobe Flash Player and it seemed to open... But I got a message saying Flash Player is not Applicable to my computer.

Thanks for your time!

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Flash Player is no longer supported on Windows RT.

Microsoft began embedding Flash Player in IE in Windows 8, as such, all Flash Player ActiveX updates are released by Microsoft via Windows Update.  This is the reason for the 'Flash Player is not applicable' error message you are getting when attempting to use the installer.  Since Microsoft embeds Flash Player in IE, the standalone installer does not work.  However, due to Microsoft no longer supporting Windows RT, there are no updates to Flash Player ActiveX on Windows RT.
