Flash Player issues

I need to email a certificate to my professor using Adobe Flash Player. However, when I followed the instructions provided, it takes me to the flash player pages that displays the version of flash player on my computer. I've chatted with someone at Adobe, but they couldn't help me. I sent this question in yesterday and it is still not answered. Can someone provide some insight?
