We are seeing a lot of our end users, that when connecting to a workplace training program provided by a 3rd party vendor, experience a blank Flash screen.  The training program checks prerequisites to make sure the program will run on the end users computer.  The check passes and Flash starts then the box stays blank.  We have tried uninstalling browsers and flash player.  We are seeing this on about 10% of our end user systems and the only common thread is Flash, other than the training program itself.  We have contacted the 3rd party vendor and they said it is not an issue with their program.

I'm having the same problem but found that when I used Google Chrome as the Browser I was able to get to a Flash player application (i.e., Yahoo Fantasy Sports, Stattracker).  I don't know how to get Internet Explorer to work with flash player though.  I even tried to use the 32 bit browser instead of the 64 bit one.  Neither works.  Someone out there ought to know why Google Chrome works and IE does not.  I remember it asking me if I wanted Google Chrome installed when downloading the update.  Sounds like GC sabatoged IE! Not funny!!

    • Chrome comes with Flash Player preinstalled.
    • Internet Explorer needs the Flash Player ActiveX installed.
    • All other browsers need the Flash Player plugin installed.

If you need more help, please start your own topic with all information, including what IE version you use.

First thing to check if disabling Hardware Acceleration (Flash Player Settings) fixes the problem.

The training program you mention; is that web-based?  If not, does it use the ActiveX or plugin version of Flash Player?  Make sure both are installed.

I also think that the 3rd-party vendor should get a little bit more involved with your problem instead of just saying that it's not their problem.
