Hello,

I've installed the latest version of flash and I keep get this error

"Flash player (JavaApplicationStub Internet plug-in) quit unexpectedly"

What does it mean?

What shall I do?

Thank you

Shlomit

I started getting this also.  No matter how many times I hit the OK button it continues to open this window.

    I'm running OS X 10.7.5 on a 2006 MacBook.

Is there a specific set of steps that I can follow that (at least somewhat) consistently produces this for you?

That's pretty bizarre.  Flash Player isn't built with Java and wouldn't throw this message for any reason that I can think of.

Is it possible that you got tricked into downloading a fake Flash Player update from a malicious pop-up window or something?  Because Flash Player is ubiquitous, it's a major target for malware authors looking to distribute their software to unsuspecting users.

I'd recommend running a good anti-virus and/or anti-malware package.  http://www.malwarebytes.org is free and well respected.

You should uninstall any Flash Player you have, and download a fresh copy from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer, just to be sure that you have something authentic.

    Thanks!

There's a set of offline installers at the bottom of this troubleshooting guide - you might have more success with them:

Also, collecting and posting the installer logs would help us improve the product, and your issue is one I haven't seen before.  I'm definitely curious.
